YOGA NIDRA

“During sleep, we don’t have consciousness — we just check out,”

“Yoga Nidra is like a check-in.”

Yoga Nidra is a calming yogic practice that brings harmony to the entire body. It is a mix of breathing, relaxation and awareness techniques,

combined with hypnose and visualizations. It significantly reduces the physical, mental and emotional stresses of modern life.

This form of yoga uses deep relaxation techniques to get into a state of conscious sleep. 1 hour of Yoga Nidra can feel like 4 hours of sleep.

Yoga Nidra is best known as a relaxation technique, but it is also a powerful tool for achieving self-realization. It gives you the opportunity to manifest a deep desire, an intention, what we call Sankalpa.

By setting intentions during a very receptive state of Being,

they reach you on a deeper level. All choices you make and everything you do will form more according to these intentions. Whether you are aware of it or not!

Once in the "Deep Sleep State" your body returns to its purest state of "Being" Your self-healing ability gets activated. You reset your health, your mind ... your life.

YOGA NIDRA ORIGINS

YOGA NIDRA GONGBATH

The gong is a powerful instrument that has been used for thousands of years

in sound therapy, meditations and ceremonies.

Since sounds are conducted by water and our body consists of 70% water,

the sound vibrations of the gong resonate in each cell and have a very deep effect.

A gong bath has the same effect as a long, deep massage.

It allows you to completely relax and release all stress.

The “Yoga Nidra Gongbath” unites the sound of the gong with guided meditation and visualization so that the combination of a voice and the vibrations of the instrument bring us into a deeply healing and meditative state, a state of conscious sleep.

The gong enhances the effects of Yoga Nidra.

We currently only offer Yoga Nidra as part of our XL-YOGA series.
